Some quick decisions changed the course of history. They led to the sinking of the Titanic, the tragic flight that killed Buddy Holly, the solution to the Cuban missile crises, and the famous ‘I Have a Dream’ quote from Martin Luther King, Jr – among many others. At no time, did any of these decisions involve critical analysis, deep introspection, or weighing alternatives.

If someone guaranteed you a generous return on your labor to start a side hustle, you would probably jump at the chance. But the reality is that most, if not all, significant achievements by the average person involve serious consideration.

For most micro-entrepreneurs, the decision to make the business official takes time. The love of painting ends in a business that produces portraits of beloved pets.
